The accidental benefits of Jana raksha plan of LIC are given on the basis of a very small addition of one per thousand sum assured for full term is added in the premium which makes policy holder eligible for receiving additional benefits which are mentioned below. These additional benefits are subject to certain conditions. (a) The life cover under death due to the accident is doubled. The maximum double benefit payable to the beneficiaries is US $ 50,000. (b) In the case of accident, if the policy holder faces disability then (i) All future premiums of the policy are waived off. (ii) Addition amount which is equal to the sum total of amount assured is paid in hundred and twenty equal monthly instalments which are paid in ten years’ time interval. (iii) On the maturity of the policy or in case of demise of the policy holder the original sum assured is paid to the nominees with all the accrued bonuses. if there is any unpaid premiums disability benefit even that is paid to the nominee
