The policy number of LIC policy is a number mentioned in the document of LIC policy schedule. Policy number of LIC policy is a nine digit unique number written in the policy schedule. This policy number is a unique number which is an identity to the policy holder and to his/her policy. If the policy holder has to do any correspondence related to servicing of the on-going policy then he /she has to quote this unique nine digit number in the correspondence.
