I don’t have a demat account. I have invested in 3 mutual funds ? SBI Emerging Business Fund, HDFC Top 200 and Canara Robeco Equity Diversified Fund. I want to know whether I can invest through Rajiv Gandhi Equity Savings Scheme. Are existing mutual fund investors eligible under this scheme or not?

In my opinion existing mutual funds or ETF investments make an investor eligible for Rajiv Gandhi Equity Savings Scheme. For your knowledge, I must tell you that all mutual funds are not eligible for RGESS. Check whether your existing funds are covered under RGESS or not.
