Any comments on returns from ICICI systematic retirement solution

If I invest Rs 1 lakh annually for 5 years and keep the amount intact for next 5 years, then 11th year onwards, I will get 2.6 lakhs per annum for lifetime till I will not withdraw my money from bank. This was explained to me my branch manager for ICICI systematic retirement solution. It’s hard for me to believe. Any comments?

This is a market linked plan and there is no guarantee of getting 2.6 lakhs p.a. for lifetime. The plan has a bright scope of ruining your hard earned money. You are right, don’t believe the branch manager.
