Further the surviving spouse doesn’t need to pay any of the premiums in future but the plan will be in forced where it will keep getting bonuses on the basis of valuations. On the day of maturity all the original sum assured is paid to the nominees with all the accrued bonuses. If there is any unpaid premiums disability benefit even that is paid to the nominee. In case if both the partner survive the policy term then basic sum assured is paid along with the earned bonuses.
