Can I become an agent for General Insurance along with Life Insurance

I am a life insurance agent with LIC. Can I become an agent for general insurance as well while continuing life insurance?

An individual has an option to become an agent for either one kind of insurance or to opt for life and general insurance both. In the latter case, such a person will get composite license from IRDA. In your case, you will have to surrender your license for life insurance and will have to apply for a fresh composite license after undergoing necessary training. This way you can become an agent for both these type of insurance.
