Can I close HSBC savings account without visiting branch

Till 6 months ago, I was using a savings account and credit card of HSBC at Hyderabad. Thereafter, I shifted to Delhi and stopped using the account and card. I still have these accounts active. I have Rs. 500 balance in the account and there are no dues on credit card. I want to know the procedure to close the account without visiting Hyderabad branch.

Your physical presence at Hyderabad branch is important for the process. Contact Delhi branch, they might help you in this regard. But be ready to pay penalty for not maintaining minimum quarterly average balance.
