Can I get registry for amount lesser than actual cost

I am applying for a loan from Kotak Mahindra Bank. The property which I am purchasing is available @ Rs. 3,500 per sq. ft. Is it possible if I can ask my bank and get the registry done at Rs. 2,500 per sq. ft.? Though it will reduce bank’s lending to me, but I am ok with it. I need loan which is less than the amount if I opt to take the value as Rs. 2,500.

Why not take it at Rs. 3,500. If you opt for Rs. 2,500 then in future your capital gain tax will be more.
