Can I pay credit card bill in EMIs

I have HDFC credit card. Due to medical emergencies, I used it for amount beyond my capacity to meet. I am in credit card default for last 4 months. The bank is continuously sending reminders and adding interest and penalty charges. This is further adding to the amount of debt. Is there any chance that bank can allow me to pay the amount in fixed EMIs?

Request bank manager to convert debt into personal loan. Once they agree to do so, your credit card debt will be cleared and you will be able to pay EMIs for your personal loan.
