Do I have to stop RD to generate more profit

I want to invest for 3 years. With that money I will repay personal loan from Bank of Baroda. I am investing Rs. 3,000 through SIP in SBI Emerging Business Fund. I am also running RD with PNB. Is it wise to stop RD in between and start putting the amount in MF? In which mutual fund should I invest?

From liquidity point of view, RDs and FDs are suggested for short periods. Mutual funds pay more to those who want to invest for a long period of time. Continue with RD and increase the amount of investment in it.
