Do I need to pay fine on missed ITRs

I missed to file last 2 years income tax returns because of my health issues. I have genuine reports to prove my point. I don’t have any outstanding tax liability and whatever tax was due has already been deducted as TDS. IF I file now, will I need to pay a heavy penalty? Is there any way I can reduce this fine?

Since your reason sound to be genuine, I don’t think that the assessing officer will impose any penalty. File your ITR without worrying.
