For many years I should buy a term insurance plan

I am 28 years old. I have 2 years baby. I am non smoker and I don’t consume alcohol. I am interested in purchasing a term plan. For which duration I should purchase the plan ? 30 years or 50 years? I sit that if I purchase the plan before 31st December, I will benefit and the premium on new policies increases every year?

In general, a person rarely needs a financial security for his family after 60 or 65 years of age. Better go for 30 years plan. And there is no such trend of premium enhancing after 31st December.
