HDFC is unnecessarily demanding broken period interest on home loan

I applied for home loan with HDFC Bank. EMI was fixed to be paid on 8th of every month. On 5th I requested them to disburse it but they insisted on providing them stamp duty documents, but it can be taken only after full payment to builder. They replied me on 11th and now asking for broken period interest. Tell me what I should do.

In my view, the question of broken period interest should not at all arise. However, if the officials do not agree then try to push your disbursement date to the beginning of next month.
