How to invest in mutual funds for long term

I am interested in investing in mutual funds for 15 ? 20 years. I have picked Franklin India Blue Chip (G), BNP Paribas Equity Fund (G) and Birla Sun Life Top 100 (G) for investment. Now the problem is that I don’t know the procedure of investing in mutual funds. Please guide me as to what should I do now.

If you need help in investing then you can invest through fundsindia.com. In case you wish to manage the show on your own which in anyway is a better option then you can invest directly through your chosen fund’s AMC.
