How to remove 000 status for credit card settlement

In 2009, I had credit cards of HDFC Bank and Standard Chartered Bank and due to extreme financial crisis, I couldn’t meet 100% billing amount and finally settled the debt wit both these banks. At present I don’t carry any loan but the CIBIL score is not good and credit report of CIBIL shows the credit card dues as 000. How I can remove this status and improve my score?

The status will continue to be reflected in CIBIL report for at least next 7 years or till the time you don’t pay your debt in full.
