Six years ago, I invested in post office monthly income scheme. Now, it has matured and I want to withdraw it. But as I am out of town and would not be able to come back in near future, post master is not allowing me to withdraw without being physically present. What I should do now?

If your postmaster agrees, then you can hand over an authority letter to somebody there who can collect the cheque on your behalf. Also provide this person with your ID proof, MIS passbook and ask him to take his/ her ID proof as well.
