Is it recommendable to choose term insurance policy of LIC

I want to purchase a term insurance policy for Rs. 1 crore. Though I have many names in mind, but I find LIC to be most consumer friendly, reputed and reliable. But it is costly when compared to term policy of other private players. What is your opinion on it?

LIC offers the most inflexible term policy which can be quoted as its plus and minus both points. Before taking a final decision, check IRDA’s website about the claim settlement ratio of LIC and other players like HDFC life or ICICI apart from premium charges.
