Last year I started investing in SBI Emerging Business Fund through SIP. My plan of action is to keep this SIP active for 20 years time frame. I have not booked profit till now, not even when the market was up. I feel that probably this can be the reason why my returns from the mutual fund are average. Do you think that I should book profits every time I find the market at peak? What is your strategy to be followed on this?

One year time frame is too short for a mutual fund to give good returns.
