Is it safe to open PPF account with IDBI

I have a PPF account with IDBI. Is it as safe as having a PPF account with SBI? Can I expect the same kind of benefits after 15 years?

Understand one thing that banks act only like a bridge between you and government. Whatever, you invest in your PPF, goes to government account. And whatever interest you get from this account is paid to you by government not by bank. Since both these banks are public sector banks, both are same is respect to safety.
