Need guidance on choosing Star family health optima policy

I have a family of three ? self (39 years), wife (34 years) and a son (6 years). I am looking for health insurance policy for my family. Someone has suggested me to take Star family health optima policy. I am not an expert in these matters. I need your guidance on choosing a right policy for my family.

Though it is a good policy, but just because somebody has recommended it, don’t go for it. Do research, list down some policies from reputed companies, compare them in terms of claim settlement ratio, service, premium, coverage, etc. and then take decision.
