Need health insurance plan for elderly person with few diseases

My father-in-law has a problem of prostate enlargement. He had already gone through a surgery for hernia. Doctor has advised him to go for a knee replacement surgery as well. He is aging 66 years, I wish to get an insurance cover for him for at least Rs. 5 lakhs. I consulted representatives of Religare, National Insurance ad policybazaar. All gave me a same reply that he cannot be covered under any insurance plan. Can you suggest something for him?

With these medical problems, you won’t get any insurance cover for him. Start keeping funds aside for his medical needs.
