Post graduation (PG) in finance after B.Tech (Mechanical)

I have done B.Tech in mechanical. Can I take finance at my post graduation level? Will it be difficult to cope with the subjects?

First two semesters of MBA degree are common for all students. You will study accounts and financial management among many other subjects. The main role of these two semesters is to bring all the students at a common platform thereby eradicating the difference in their graduation background. If you easily understand these subjects and develop interest in them then you can definitely go for finance specialization and I don’t think that you will face any difficulty.
