Should I invest in PPF or in Jeevan Saral policy

I am interested in investing in one of the two choices ? PPF or Jeevan Saral Policy of LIC. If I contribute Rs. 50,000 yearly then I will be able to get Rs. 15,58,000 from PPF on maturity, however, the value is more for Jeevan Saral policy (as told by agent). I understand that the maturity value on Jeevan Saral can be less or more than the amount told by agent. What will you suggest ? an investment in Jeevan Saral or in PPF?

I will recommend an investment in PPF. If you want to repel later then go for Jeevan Saral.
