I have read somewhere when you have insurance cover from multiple companies then if one company rejects your claim, the chances of other companies rejecting it increases as insurance companies have access to data pertaining to their clients policies from all insurers and their claims thereto. Should I split my insurance in LIC or Aviva or should I go for a single cover?

Yes, you are right. When you have multiple insurers and one of them rejects your claim then the chances of claim rejection from others increases. Go for a single big cover and provide them your details honestly.
