Skills required to be a loan officer with a Private Sector Bank

I am finance fresher. I wish to become loan officer with a good private sector bank. Which skills should I develop for a successful career in this field?

A loan officer is a sales position. Therefore, to be a successful loan officer, you need to be comfortable with all the aspects of selling loans. Apart from knowledge, you need to be good in convincing and follow-up skills. Negotiation skills must be there. You should be tech savvy, patient and should have good mannerism coupled with good communication skills (both oral and written).
