    Sales Tax is paid by all dealers on the sale of any goods made by the dealer in the ambit of inter-state trade or commerce activity. A Sales Tax ID number is essentially a business version of an individual’s social security number, under the ambit of which the person collects and pays the tax for any service or product you sell which eventually qualifies for taxation process in your state.
