Will my CIBIL be affected due to one bounced EMI

I have home loan from HDFC. The amount of EMI is deducted on 10th of every month. Somehow, the balance wasn’t sufficient on 10th. I deposited money in the account on the same day. I guess the delay is only by one day. Is it in anyway going to affect my CIBIL score?

A single default does not impact much on CIBIL. However, multiple defaults will definitely harm your score. And the delay will not be by one day, banks hardly try on the very next day. They try after 6-7 days. In addition, you will be charged bouncing charges.
