Will you advice to invest in HDFC NPS pension plan

I am interested in saving money for my retirement which may happen after 20 years and for my children future taking tenure of 15 years. HDFC team has suggested me to take HDFC NPS pension and youngster child insurance plan. What will you suggest on this? If this plan is not good, please suggest something else.

Check whether you have financial cover in this plan, if you die tomorrow. I will suggest you to invest major sum of money in term insurance from a company of your choice and keep investing rest of your savings in RD/ FD/ MF/ PPF.
