With which bank should I open my PPF account

I want to open PPF account for 25 years. I have two choices ? SBI and ICICI. Which bank will you suggest me to opt and how much time will it take to open PPF account?

It will not take more than an hour to open your account. Be ready with KYC. PPF account is initially opened for 15 years tenure and is renewable for a block of 5 years, i.e. you can keep subscribing in the account running any number of years in the multiple of 5. SBI being a public sector bank should be preferred over ICICI for PPF.
