A PAN number has been made mandatory for every transaction with the income tax department. it is compulsory for various other official and financial transaction such as opening of an account in bank ,for availing institutional loans, purchase of high end consumer product , foreign travel ,dealings in security and transactions’ involved in immovable product. PAN card is a very valuable means of identifications of an individual accepted by all government and non-government institutions in India.
