Yes, in India the tax can be paid in instalments in the form of advance tax. In this case too, the total amount of the levied tax on an individual or organization has to be paid by the due date. In case of advance tax payments the payer can make payments in instalments to the income tax department throughout that particular financial year. Just in case, if the total paid amount comes out to be the actual amount of tax to be paid, then the payer can file for income tax returns to get back the excess amount of tax paid.
