While replying you, I am assuming that you are not interested in clearing NET or doing PhD or BEd. Accept this thing that most of the colleges and schools prefer academicians with a degree from regular college of repute. Since you have completed your post graduation from distance learning, you might have to face difficulty with this. You can try in average colleges else you can take some experience by teaching in study centers of universities.
