PPF account facility is open to all irrespective of their caste, culture, gender and age. Even a minor can open account under his/ her guardian. 80 years old can also open account. The accounts opened for initial 15 years after which it is extendable in the multiple if 5 years and can be continued till the time you desire to continue it.
