    I am NRI and have plans to return to India after 5 years. I need to invest money for my child who has turned 7 this month. I have time for next 10-12 years. I was thinking of investing in ICICI Pru Wealth builder II (ULIP). Or should I invest in NRE fixed deposit? I will wait for your valuable suggestion.

    I will advice you to purchase a term cover from the country of your current residence and as regards investing for your child, put your investments in NRE fixed deposit or equity based mutual funds.
