    I have borrowed home loan from SBI Max gain for an under constructed property. I will get possession of this property in another 6 months period of time. Is it possible that I can get provisional interest certificate? Can I claim the interest on this loan as a part of my deductions for income tax purpose?

    You can contact your SBI branch for the provisional interest certificate. As regards claiming the interest paid as deduction, you will not be able to claim it until and unless you get possession of the property.
