Can I use my new bank account for redeeming MF

5 years back I purchased HDFC Top 200 mutual fund and used my ING Vysya account. Year back I closed that account and now I have only the account number with me. I want to redeem my mutual fund but the redemption document is asking for quoted bank’s cheque. Please tell me what to do.

First update your new bank account details with the AMC. AMCs have declaration form for the purpose. Fill this form along with bank updation form. Once you get confirmation from AMC that your new account details have been updated, you can apply for redemption.
