Felt cheated by HDFC on their free credit card offer

A year before I got a call from a representative of HDFC offering free credit card to me. She was offering HDFC Credit Card Platinum ++. Since I was already thinking of taking a credit card, I accepted the offer but later they gave me Platinum Edge and I am still paying annual charges of Rs. 2,000 on it. I had several discussions with branch manager but all were vain. Is there any way through which I can get my money back?
