Guidance needed on making investment in mutual fund through fundsindia

While discussing with fundsindia’s representative, he suggested me to invest in HDFC Top 200. I am planning to invest in it through them. I can invest Rs. 15,000 annually in this fund. Do I need to have account in HDFC bank to invest in this fund? Please comment on the choice of investment and on investing through fundsindia.

I have invested my personal money in this fund. Over a period of time, if you wish to invest in 20 ? 30 MFs, then you require services of fundindia, otherwise invest directly through the respective AMC. This way you can earn more.
