Is LIC going to take off all its existing plans

My insurance agent was telling me that LIC is soon going to take off all its existing plans from the market and the existing clients will be benefitted out of this deal. New plans will be launched after a wait for 2-3 years. Therefore, it will be better to invest in LIC term plans as soon as possible. I doubt my agent’s words. Please guide me on this.

For your information, new plans from LIC have been launched in the beginning of 2014. You can check for these plans on https://www.licindia.in/individual_plans.htm. Your insurance agent is trying to fool you.
