Is iGuarantee plan from Aegon Religare worth to invest

One of my friends has suggested me to buy iGuarantee plan from Aegon Religare. I don’t have any information on this plan. I don’t want to waste my hard earned money just to satisfy anybody’s whims and fancies. I need review of it so that I can take rational decision. Please help

Let us say that you survived term plan, after 6 years you will get Rs. 1, 35,000 on a fixed deposit of Rs. 1, 00,000. That is you will get an XIRR of 5.12%. I guess this much will be sufficient to make your decision making process easy.
