    I have already invested Rs. 10,000 in Franklin India Bluechip. I want to invest Rs. 10,000 monthly in ICICI Prudential Dynamic Plan for long term. Will I be actually diversifying my funds?

    Franklin India Bluechip invests in large cap whereas, ICICI Prudential Dynamic focuses more on mid cap companies. However, there is overlapping in stock of companies. Looking at the situation from small cap, mid cap and large cap funds, then the portfolio is not completely diversified. If you really want to diversify your funds, then explore small or mid caps with a potential to become large cap in future.
