Need review on term insurance policy of Aviva

Very recently I thought of starting doing financial planning for self and family. Just to start with I am thinking of purchasing a term plan of Rs. 50 lakhs from Aviva but I am not too sure of its past performances, company’s reputation and their claim settlement ratio and other relevant things. This unawareness is generating a fear factor in me to put my funds into it. Can you please help on me on this?
