Should I invest in Axis long-term equity MF through SIP

I am thinking of investing in Axis long term equity mutual fund through SIP. But Axis MF site shows it to be highly risky. Looking at the high risk grade should I invest in this?

As the name suggests, this mutual fund invests in equity and Axis considers equity as high risk and debt as low risk. For that reason, their site shows it high on risk. By investing in this fund, you will be able to save tax. Though it is risky, but it is yielding good returns for long term. In my opinion, you should go for it.
