Am I eligible for education loan with active home loan

I have a joint home loan with my father from Axis Bank. My current monthly income is Rs. 70,000 and my father’s income is Rs. 25,000. Together we are paying an EMI of Rs. 42,000. I wish to study further in abroad. While I will be away, my father will pay EMIs. In this situation, am I eligible for education loan?

Since your father’s monthly income is less than the EMI, I certainly doubt that bank will accept your application for education loan. However, you can directly discuss the matter with Axis Bank.
