Can Robeco Liquid or HDFC Balanced Fund ? Where to invest

I want to invest in one of the following two mutual funds ? Can Robeco Liquid ? Reg Plan (G) or HDFC Balanced Fund (G). I want good returns but I am confused in which fund to invest. Please guide me, which one is better?

HDFC Balanced Fund has yielded a 1 year return at 54.8%., whereas, Can Robeco Liquid has yielded a 1 year return at mere 9.2%. A balanced fund is always considered as a better option to invest in comparison to liquid funds. Therefore, without any doubt, you should put your money in HDFC Balanced Fund.
