    I am already having a general insurance license. Do I need to have a separate license for doing health insurance (mediclaim)?

    A license for doing general insurance makes you eligible to do insurance for vehicles, fire, householders insurance, personal accident insurance, travel insurance, medical and health insurance. Since medical and health insurance is a part of general insurance for which you already have a license, you do not have to apply for a fresh license.
