    I am 28 years old. 3 months before, I purchased term plan for Rs. 50 lakhs SA from Aegon Religare. While going through the details, I realized that I have made a mistake while filling proposal form. I wrote that I am a non-smoker though the fact is that I have recently quit smoking. Can my policy be cancelled due to this fact? Please advice what to do now.

    I will suggest you to update the information to your insurer as soon as possible. There will be premium loading on your policy and the policy will continue without being rejected.
