Need loan from SBI not from HDFC for builder flat

I am keen on purchasing a builder flat for which he has tie up with HDFC Ltd. After paying booking amount, I will get three weeks to pay the balance. If I apply for pre approval of loan from SBI, it will tale 3 weeks after property verification. Builder will not allow this much time. What should I do?

Explain the matter to your builder. Bank will not change their process for builder but builder can definitely offer you this much flexibility. If the builder is rigid on his terms, I will suggest you to look for some other property.
