    Last week I surrendered my LIC endowment policy. In addition to this heroic act, I have opened a PPF account for self. I earn Rs. 19,000 monthly from a private job. I don’t have any major expenditure and no dependants on me. I can save Rs. 7,000 monthly. I am looking for Rs. 2 ? 3 lakhs for my sister’s wedding in another 2 years of time. Please guide

    I will suggest you to invest Rs. 7,000 monthly in a plain recurring deposit scheme.
