I want to become a fund manager. What are the roles and responsibilities of a fund manager?

It is the responsibility of the fund manager to decide on the construction of portfolio of asset that will achieve the investment objectives of a particular fund. While doing this he often uses the services of analysts who keep him informed about the various investment opportunities in the market and supports him in highlighting trends. He needs to ensure that the investments made by him are within the limit and risk appetite of his organization.
